Golf Course Overview
Northeast Harbor presents to the golfer the best of all worlds — 13 magnificent wooded holes surrounded by thousands of trees and 5 traditional links-style holes, significant elevation changes, very small greens and unrivaled beauty. With many great golf courses, the architect allows the player an opportunity to warm up placing the easiest holes first. This is the case at Northeast.
Here are some general trends to bear in mind:
• With the exception of three holes, difficulties lurk behind the greens.
• Ten of the 18 greens are sloped, some severely, from back to front. Try to stay below the hole.
• Since accuracy rather than length is of primary importance, conservative club selection on the tee is recommended.
